This statue was made using the traditional lost wax casting process, also known as lost mold casting. This millennia-old process is considered the most complex and highest quality for producing bronze sculptures.

manufacturing process:

• After the bronze blank is freed from the mold by smashing it, a complex process of chasing begins.
• Exhaust ducts are separated and any multi-part cast parts are welded together.
• With great artistic care, the surfaces are reworked using scrapers, punches or chisels, files, grinding and polishing tools.
