This masterfully crafted statue was made using the traditional lost wax casting process, also known as "lost mold." This millennia-old process is the most complex and highest quality for producing bronze sculptures.

Manufacturing process:
After the bronze blank is freed from the mold, the chasing process begins. In this process, exhaust air ducts are removed, any multi-part parts are welded together and the surfaces of the sculpture are precisely reworked. Scrapers, punches, chisels, files and polishing tools are used to work out every detail - from facial features to muscles and ornaments - in the finest detail. Finally, the sculpture is given its individual finish through a complex patina process.

Use a soft cloth or brush. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents as these can damage the patina. For a deeper cleaning, a mild soap solution can be used. To maintain the protective layer, it is recommended to occasionally treat the figure with a special wax for bronze. Do not store or place bronze figures in damp environments as this can encourage corrosion.
