This sculpture was made using the traditional lost wax casting process, the so-called "lost mold". It was then refined using an elaborate patina process to achieve an individual and unique appearance. About the artist Raymondo:
Raymondo was born on April 13, 1974 in Berlin. He was fascinated by art from an early age and after training as a technical draftsman he moved to Bristol, UK, to study art with a focus on illustration at the University of the West of England (UWE). During his studies, Raymondo developed a preference for three-dimensional sculptures, which were often presented as two-dimensional illustrations. Today his work includes stylish and erotic nude series in bronze, inspired by great artists such as Pablo Picasso, Juan Gris and Alexander Archipenko.
