Like all of our statues, this one was made using the traditional lost wax method, the so-called "lost mold." This millennia-old method is the most complex and highest quality method for producing bronze sculptures.

After casting, the bronze blank is further processed in a complex chasing process. Exhaust air ducts are cut off and any multi-part sculptures are precisely welded together. The surfaces are carefully reworked with scrapers, punches, files and polishing tools to work out the finest details such as facial features, muscles and ornaments. Finally, the sculpture is refined using a special patina process to give it an individual finish.

Shipment:
The statue will be shipped safely in a specially designed, shatter-proof cardboard box with proof of shipment.
