Like all of our statues, this one was made using the complex lost wax casting process, the so-called "lost mold". This millennia-old process is considered one of the highest quality and most complex methods for producing bronze sculptures.

After casting, the bronze blank is processed in a complex chasing process. Exhaust ducts are cut off, possibly multi-part sculptures are precisely welded together, and the surfaces are reworked with scrapers, punches, files and polishing tools. Facial features, muscles and ornaments are worked out in the finest detail to give the sculpture an individual finish. Finally, the statue is given its final patina.

Shipment:
The statue will be shipped safely in a specially designed, shatter-proof cardboard box with proof of shipment.
