Like all of our statues, this one was made using the complex lost wax casting process, also known as "lost mold." This millennia-old process is considered the most complex and highest quality for producing bronze sculptures.

After casting, the bronze blank is freed by breaking the mold and then refined by chasing. In the process, exhaust air ducts are cut off, any parts cast in multiple parts are precisely welded together and the surface of the sculpture is carefully reworked. Facial features, muscles and ornaments are worked out with artistic care in the finest detail before the sculpture is given its final patination.

Your statue will be shipped safely in a specially designed shatter-proof cardboard box with proof of shipment.
